Who Knows Better is an iOS app that helps couples get to know each other through questions and games. We don't sell your data. The free version shows Google AdMob ads, which are personalised only if you allow it. Premium members see no ads.

Data we process

Why

Only for these purposes: pairing you with your partner, running games, showing results and stats, sending the notifications you asked for, unlocking Premium, fixing bugs, protecting the service from abuse and showing ads in the free version.

Ads and your choices

After your first finished game, iOS asks once for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). If you allow it, your advertising identifier is shared with Google to personalise ads based on your activity in other companies' apps and websites. If you don't, it isn't shared and you see non-personalised ads. You can change this any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form appears before any ad. You can change or withdraw your choice in the app under Us > Privacy & security > Ad consent settings. How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Service providers

Google Firebase (authentication, database, server functions, push delivery, App Check, Crashlytics, Analytics), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, push delivery), RevenueCat (subscription status) and Google AdMob (ads in the free version, ad measurement and consent).

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Removing the partner connection deletes the shared streak and daily question data. You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time in Us > Privacy & security > Delete Account. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Your rights and contact

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have your rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to a data protection authority:

The app is not directed to children under 13.
